Sometimes people have experienced real trauma and have nowhere left to turn, and sometimes they just need some guidance to think an issue through and make a good decision. Whatever the situation, YMCA provides qualified guidance to help people build or rebuild their belief in themselves and a bright future.
Anyone can fall on hard times, and YMCA can provide a helping hand to our communities when they have issues with housing, receiving welfare support or food packages.

YMCA supports staff and service users in exploring life’s big questions and the value of spiritual health. Through prayer meetings, devotional activities, retreats, and partnerships with local churches and Christian networks, we create opportunities for reflection, connection, and growth in faith.
Each resident in our Supported Housing receives tailored support from a dedicated Life Coach, helping them grow, reach their potential, and move toward independent living. Support is needs-led and flexible, covering personal development, tenancy sustainment, and housing-related assistance based on individual circumstances.
YMCA offers a range of community support, including Brew & Belong sessions with free refreshments, activities, wellness support, and hygiene packs. We also run a Sanitary Bank, Rise & Read breakfast reading sessions, and a low-cost Community Pantry. Helping to nourish, connect, and empower our local community.
We value and believe in the power of prayer and that, by praying, we place our work, residents, service users, staff and our communities, in the hands of God. Is there anything you would like us to pray with and for you? Please let us know in the Prayer form below
