Move-on Accommodation
A safe and supported step forward on your journey to independent living.
Our move-on accommodation provides a housing option for young people who have lived in our supported accommodation but are now ready to move on to more independent accommodation.
We aim to provide safe, secure and affordable housing with a landlord that residents can trust, whilst still being on hand to offer any guidance or support for those who need our help.
The accommodation on offer is typically linked or close-by to our supported housing scheme, enabling a seamless transition from supported housing to low needs housing where young people can live independently.

We have move on accommodation available in the following locations:
Facilities available include:
- 34 unfurnished, self-contained flats
- White goods supplied
- A mix of 30 one bedroom and 4 two bedroom flats
- Access to events and initiatives run from The Orchard (Supported Housing)
- Communal residents lounge and games room area
- Communal gardens
- Access to onsite chaplaincy service
- Staff onsite 24/7
YMCA’s Move-on Housing in Erdington is delivered in partnership with Birmingham City Council.

- 27 Unfurnished, self-contained rooms
- Support with white goods available
- Modern studio style apartments
- Communal laundry facilities
- Access to initiatives and events being run from Magdelene Court (Supported Housing)
- Access to chaplaincy service
- Staff onsite 24/7
