We are recruiting for a Housing Officer to join our team on a full time, permanent contract. You will be based predominantly in Coventry.

The Housing Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality day to day housing management functions. By delivering an efficient and effective housing management service to the associations tenants. This includes, but not exclusively, the letting, management, maintenance, administration and rent collection for all properties on YMCA Heart of England housing sites as agreed.

To excel in this role, you will need experience in housing management or supported housing and income management or debt recovery/collection (preferably in a social housing environment), and a working knowledge of housing issues and legislation, particularly pertaining to homelessness. You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, question and influence when needed.
