Hours: 20 hours (pattern to be agreed)
Location: Based at our Coventry or Birmingham office (with frequent travel required across our areas of operation)
Salary: £25,000 (pro rata)
Contract: Fixed term contract – 2 years
We are recruiting for an experienced fundraiser who wants to use their skills to make a real difference to the lives of young people and their community.
This new role provides a unique opportunity to contribute towards developing a robust fundraising strategy and to take responsibility for delivering it. You will coordinate and organise all the community fundraising activity; writing trust applications and managing donations for YMCA Heart of England to achieve an agreed income target.
You will build on existing relationships and develop new ones to maximise opportunities for fundraising and donations across our areas of work to ensure that we have a strong supporter database, who engage with us regularly. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will also contribute towards developing strong external communications that will inform our supporter base about our work.
YMCA Heart of England was formed from the merger of YMCA Birmingham and YMCA Coventry & Warwickshire. Our work today draws on a combined experience of 300 years of supporting young people and we are proud to be part of the largest youth charity in the world.
