We are delighted to formally announce the appointment of Pauline Tomlinson as the new CEO. She will assume responsibilities on 1st July 2021 and succeeds Alan Fraser who has stepped down after almost 16 years to find a new challenge.
Pauline has been part of the YMCA Heart of England team for 19 months joining in 2019 as Assistant Chief Executive – Operations.
Commenting on her appointment, Pauline said, “I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed to the role of CEO and look forward to steering the organisation forward. The last 18 months have been extremely challenging and we now need to prepare for the post pandemic future so that we continue to provide vital support services meeting the needs of the people we serve.”
Pauline brings a wealth of experience to YMCA Heart of England. Pauline was previously Chief Officer at YMCA Black Country for 10 years and before that has worked for Government Office, Local Authority, Colleges and Universities and within the corporate sector. Pauline’s rich experience in the voluntary, statutory and corporate sector combines to enable excellent leadership for YMCA Heart of England and will contribute significantly in driving YMCA Heart of England forward in its next chapter.
